What this budget actually gets you
Be aware of what three figures actually buys in airsoft. Under £100 the value sits overwhelmingly in gas blowback pistols, which at this price are properly skirmishable rather than toys. Electric rifles are thinner on the ground here. If an AEG is what you are after for your first game, our rifle range really starts in the next bracket up, so it is worth looking at airsoft guns under £150 before you decide.
Everything listed here is stock we hold at our shop in Rochester, Kent, so you can come and handle it before you buy. We also run repairs, servicing and upgrade work in house, which matters more on a budget gun than a premium one.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best airsoft gun under £100?
It depends whether you want a pistol or a rifle. Under £100 our strongest options are gas blowback pistols, which give you a realistic kick and plenty of aftermarket support. For an electric rifle at this price the choice is much narrower. The list above is live, so it always shows what is genuinely in stock rather than what we wish we had.
Can you get a decent airsoft rifle for under £100?
You can, but the choice is limited and it moves quickly. Most beginner AEGs that are worth owning sit between £100 and £150, which buys you a metal gearbox, an adjustable hop up and parts that are easy to find. If your budget can stretch, that bracket is better value than the very bottom of the market.
Do I need UKARA to buy an airsoft gun under £100?
Not necessarily. Without a defence such as UKARA you can buy a two tone gun, which is the normal route for a new player. Our guide to the UK airsoft rules explains how it works, and we can talk it through in the shop.
Are cheap airsoft guns any good?
The good ones are. What separates a usable budget gun from a false economy is the gearbox, the hop up and whether spares exist for it. We do not stock guns we would not be willing to service, and we run repairs and servicing in house in Rochester.
